Girls Excelling in Math and Science (G.E.M.S.) is a long-standing, community-based program dedicated to inspiring girls to explore, enjoy, and excel in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Founded more than a decade ago by passionate educators, G.E.M.S. helps close the gender gap in STEM by offering hands-on learning experiences, mentorship, and exposure to real-world science opportunities.

G.E.M.S. creates spaces where girls gain confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging in STEM. Through tutoring, mentorship, and experiential learning, the program empowers young women to see themselves as scientists, engineers, innovators, and problem solvers.

G.E.M.S. operates under the fiscal sponsorship of Charm City Impact (CCI), which enables the organization to expand its programs and mission while maintaining strong financial oversight, transparency, and accountability. CCI manages charitable contributions and regulatory compliance, and all donations made through CCI are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
